Sid Menkis has been an active full-time agent/broker marketing and managing property in the Maryland/DC area since 1986. Prior to establishing Menkis Real Estate in 1999, Sid worked with three local brokers, a national relocation company, and a regional commercial real estate brokerage firm. During this time he developed an extensive knowledge and exposure to all aspects of the real estate industry including residential and commercial sales, leasing and management. Sid has served on on the Board of Directors for the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR). He has served as chair on the Public Policy committee with GCAAR and as a member of the Property Management committee.
Personally, Sid Menkis married his beautiful bride in 1985 and they have four sons. As an active member of the Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD, Sid has served on the Board of Deacons as treasurer. Further, Sid is serving on the Board of Directors for the Washington Christian Academy in Silver Spring, Maryland.
